Who's yer Mama?
who’s yer Mama?
Why do I have the sneaking suspicion this question actually came FROM my Mama? Mama would be the fantastic Dame Jain, The Lady of Highlandtown. Known some places as Mim (or m9m, for “Mom of Nine”).

Chocolate or Vanilla?
Vanilla. I’ve never been a fan of chocolate, though I do like really dark, not too sweet chocolate once in a while.
Everyone at the party laughed when Debbie announced she was going to knit a time machine.
“No, honestly!” she said. “It’ll take me about ten months, because some of the parts are very small and I’ll have trouble finding the right size needles for them, but it can be done.
“In fact,” she said, glancing at her watch, “it should be here in about thirty seconds.”
There was a knock at the door. Everyone stopped laughing when Debbie opened the door and greeted herself. Debbie smiled and gave herself a small thing that appeared to be knit out of wool and wire.
“Thank you!” Debbie said to herself. “But how will you get home?”
“Oh, don’t worry. I used the time machine to start over and knit two.” Debbie pulled a twin to the first thing from her purse and held it up. “Seeya!”
And then Second Debbie was gone.

I normally start Cardiff’s morning walk by going up to and then around the school. Yesterday, instead, we went the opposite direction to Bayview and walked around on the hospital grounds. If I’d followed my usual routine I would’ve seen this when it was still a fresh crime scene.
