Major Drug Bust In Greektown

WBAL Radio 1090 AM - Police say the convenience store was actually selling drugs with candy and sodas. The investigation spanned two years. Four people were arrested.
Early Wednesday morning, police executed search warrants and seized one thousand drug items during a bust of the Greektown convenience store.
Detectives believe the drug dealers were selling wholesale and retail and buying from other dealers in the city

Stay Classy, Greektown.

This looks like that elaborate backdrop that Hitchcock had painted for Marnie instead of shooting on location.

The first time I saw these cats they were just wee kittens. They survived through the winter and are happy, mellow cats today. A little grubby, but happy and mellow. They’re strays but not feral. They hunt rats, mice, and birds and I noticed that someone in the neighborhood occasionally gives them food and makes sure they have clean water.

That’s what I like about this neighborhood.

About

"According to a 2004 New York Times article on the subject, this particular baleen whale has apparently been tracked by NOAA since 1992, using a 'classified array of hydrophones employed by the Navy to monitor enemy submarines.' It sings at 52 Hertz, which is roughly the same frequency as the lowest note on a tuba, and much higher than its fellow whales, whose calls fall in the 15 to 25 Hertz range.

"Not only does it sing too high, it also fails to travel along any known migration route of any baleen whale species -- so other whales can't hear it, and they don't run into it along migration paths.

"She's lonely because no one else can hear her."
